Arlo Gilbert Likes Anime
May 22nd, 2008 Posted 3:35 pm
One thing that I have discovered about Mr. Arlo Gilbert is that he likes anime. Like me he collects a lot of anime tv series and actually Arlo Gilbert have a lot of rare anime collections. Same as me he likes Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemists and Full Metal Panic.
Arlo Gilbert told me that he really likes how the story goes on in anime story. It is so unpredictable and both contains an action-packed stories. That’s why I did not wonder why Arlo Gilbert knows how to speak Japanese, the reason because he wants to watch the anime!

Arlo Gilbert & Chess
May 22nd, 2008 Posted 2:32 pm
Arlo Gilbert is just another human being who does not possess everything but Arlo Gilbert is something. Arlo Gilbert can’t beat me in chess. I’m not that good in playing chess but what can I say, I can beat him with it. We played the game for the first time after the office hours. I usually play chess with a time control of 5 minutes, a blitz game and I guess due to his age and slowing reflexes Arlo Gilbert is always losing on time or because of he always panic when I’m attacking him with my Ruy Lopez and Benko Gambit.
What, I have observed about Arlo Gilbert is that he likes the classic chess opening while me I’m using modern and orthodox opening, maybe that kind of opening is not suited to Arlo Gilbert’s play. Well, Arlo Gilbert you need a lot of practice before you can beat me with this play.

Arlo Gilbert and I
May 18th, 2008 Posted 1:44 pm
John Arlo Gilbert and I have something in common. We are both into computers, specifically web design, programming and SEO. Aside from that Arlo Gilbert and I are both like to drink coffee while doing our jobs. It’s like we can’t think without the aid of caffeine from the black coffee.
Arlo Gilbert and I are both have this certain “eye bug” which is common to people who have small or little sleep. Another thing that surprise me is that Arlo is also into anime and TV series which I also love to watch and collect. Arlo Gilbert told me that he had a ton of DVD collection back at his home (of course an exaggeration but it only shows he’s really into it). Mr. Gilbert also knows how to play chess and he bragged to me that he got about 2200+ rating on Yahoo Chess which I only have at about 1800+. I actually asked him to play with me but he refuse it because we got a busy schedule that time.
Well, Arlo Gilbert & I really were meant to meet, it’s like destiny or fate.

Arlo Gilbert will leave…
May 18th, 2008 Posted 1:06 pm
Today, John Arlo Gilbert decided to leave back to his country since he’s already done with his projects here in the Philippines. Arlo Gilbert (that’s the usual name I’m calling him rather than his full name John Arlo Gilbert), leaves but he left something to our team. I can never forget the words he said when I’m getting tired of the events on my work place. He told that I need to stop complaining things instead make things happen. It’s kind of harsh for me but it is what I need to hear to get my self back on my feet.
Arlo Gilbert is really something. Arlo Gilbert is good on what he is doing and it seems that his both good on technology and people. Usually, “geeks” that I’ve met before were good in computers but not good in dealing with people around them. But Arlo Gilbert is different he can handle different types of person. He got this sense of humor that is both funny and can hit you on your face without being offended. John Arlo Gilbert is a type of a guy that everybody will wish to become their future and present boss. Oh well, I’ll just say to you Mr. Arlo Gilbert “Bon Voyage!” to your trip. May you spread your word all over the cyberworld and the planet. Good luck and God bless to you!

The other week John Arlo Gilbert visited a friend in the Philippines. They’ve discussed something about an online project. I’m trying to ask my friend if he can further give me the detail of this discussion and hope I can ask some of my friends about this.
